In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad “Precrime”. They use three genetically altered humans (called “Pre-Cogs”) with special powers to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand. American college student Alex (Josh Duhamel), his younger teenage sister Bea (Olivia Wilde) along with their close friend Amy (Beau Garrett) are backpacking through Brazil. They meet up with similar companions: wild and crazy British mates Finn (Desmons Askew) and Liam (Max Brown), together with Australian traveler Pru (Melissa George), on a cross country bus. They barely survive after it crashes off a cliff. Further mishaps occur due to becoming stranded on a beach by so-called “friendly locals”, some of whom have deprived them of all their processions! This is a gentle, innocent film about the reflections of an aging man (David Morse), who returns to his home town after the death of his best friend.
