Bruce Willis returns as John McClane in this action-packed sequel to Die Hard (1988). At Dulles International Airport, McClane is waiting for his wife Holly to land. A while after he arrives at the airport, he feels that something’s wrong. He follows two men into the luggage room. They both try to kill him, but he kills one and the other gets away. He gets the dead guy’s fingerprints and faxes them to his friend Al Powell over in L.A. The man’s name was Oswald Cochrane, and he had been officially dead for two years. John then realizes that someone is about to screw around with the airport, and he’s correct. Colonel Stuart, a man who got “canned by congress”, as McClane says it, and his team of ex-commandos have taken control of the airport, shutting down the Instrument Landing System and the runways. He then threatens to cause plane crashes unless the plane carrying Ramon Esperanza from Valverde (the fictitious country used in Commando (1985)) lands at a runway of his designation. The Chief Engineer and the airport’s S.W.A.T. team unsuccessfully try to restore communications with the planes above. Because of this, Stuart crashes a plane. McClane must now try to defeat the terrorists and save his wife before her plane, and all the other planes, run out of fuel.

When a man (Antonio Banderas) selects a mail order bride, he is surprised to see the beauty (Angelina Jolie) who appears before him. She alleges that she sent false photos to him to assure that he would love her for what she is and not for her beauty. However, what she is is a con artist, whore, and actress, who teams with a fellow actor (Thomas Jane) to steal money from men. What she does not expect is that she falls in love with her new husband and ultimately must decide between him and her sadistic former lover. A hollywood historical account of Tombstone, Arizona’s famed “Shootout at the O.K. Corral” and the events that led up to it. Tension between “the Law” and “the Cowboys” stirs as the Cowboys, led by “Curly Bill” Broscius, accuse the Earps (Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan) and their outlaw/gambler associate “Doc” Holliday of interefering with their operations inside and outside of town. While fairly accurate in depicting the Earps and Cowboys lifestyles and the Earp/Holliday side of the story, the film leaves out one major point of fact. Historically, the Earps/holliday are accused by the Cowboys (aka the Clanton/MacLaurey gang) of being generally corrupt and specifically responsible for a Wells Fargo robbery which left a man dead and the coach cleaned out. The Earps/Holliday in turn accuse the Clanton/MacLaurey’s of the same. Tempers rise over this situation as well as over a court decision finding the Earps not guilty.

While growing up in the Great Depression era, Johnny Cash(Joaquin Phoenix) takes an interest in music and eventually moves out of his Arkansas town to join the air force in Germany. While there, he buys his first guitar and writes his own music, and proposes to Vivian. When they got married, they settled in Tennessee and with a daughter, he supported the family by being a salesman. He discovers a man who can pursue his dreams and ends up getting a record with the boys. Shortly after that, he was on a short tour, promoting his songs, and meets the already famous and beautiful June Carter(Reese Witherspoon). Then as they get on the long-term tours with June, the boys, and Jerry Lee Lewis, they have this unspoken relationship that grows. But when June leaves the tour because of his behavior, he was a drug addict. His marriage was also falling apart, and when he sees June years later at an awards show, he forces June to tour with them again, promising June to support her two kids and herself. While the tour goes on, the relationship between June and John grow more,and his marriage to his first wife ends. June finds out about the drugs, and help him overcome it. True love and care helped John eventually stop the drug usage, and finally proposes to her in front of an audience at a show.
